The 1900NCP Field Star is Dogtra’s most popular e-collar and is truly the star of the product line.

Designed for pet, K-9 officer, and sport dog training where high output stimulation is required, the Field Master has you covered with low to high power range for the most aggressive bird dog.

This system is fully waterproof and covers a full half-mile range so you can train and hunt in harsh elements.

An illuminated LCD screen allows you to see correct setting levels and the receiver is rechargeable with nick, continuous, and pager vibration modes.

Nick is a momentary burst of pre-measured stimulation; constant gives electrical stimulation for as long as you hold the button down, up to eight seconds; and page causes the collar to vibrate for non-electrical stimulation.

All collars come with rechargeable/replaceable batteries, a charger, test light, and owner’s manual and there are 127 rheostatic levels of correction.

What’s in the Box? Transmitter Receiver (two collar receivers for dogtra two-dog models) Battery charger and splitter cable Test light Owner’s manual Carrying case

5 stars from a tough critic I will try and keep this short but I have a thousand good things to say about this product. I have a 15 month old German Shepherd puppy that is roughly 80lbs. He is stubborn and really loves to ‘test’ me. His energy level is what you’d expect for a dog of his age and his size times seventeen. He cannot be satiated by a walk and I can’t run with him everyday due to knee problems. I have a nearby field where he could run and play if he was just able to heel when someone else came onto the field or walked by. He is extremely nice but most people freak out (which is expected when a GSD is charging at you) if he approaches them. I couldn’t risk him jumping up on someone so we normally just took short walks and I dealt with his energy accordingly.I read the reviews here and bit the bullet after swallowing what seemed like a bitter $200+ pill. Boy was I wrong! I took my dog out once. One time. Just a single outing with this thing and his demeanor changed EVEN at home…

Great Product But…. I’m quite happy with the performance of the Dogtra Collar I purchased, however I want to add one thing. The documentation that comes with the collar pretty much just pertains to how to charge it, how to turn it off and on, etc. There is zero instruction on how it should be used with your dog. I agree this collar is actually more humane, and can perform miracles with your hard-to-train pooch (like mine), but that’s provided you know how to use it. If you buy this collar thinking you are just going to, “figure it out” you are being foolish and will probably cause more damage than good. Unfortunately there is a pathetically small amount of literature out there on training with these collars.I bought the DVD “Remote Collar Training for Pet Owners” by Ed Frawley (also on Amazon). You should NOT buy this collar if you haven’t also bought this DVD, or something like it. For example, did you know that you should put the collar on the dog at random times, for two weeks, BEFORE you…

Didn’t you know, Apollo can tell evil, trespassing cats from good cats.Good luck.Have you tried using the gaerdn hose on the cat? Hot pepper and clove spray?-A few occasions of licking that off its fur may persuade it that your yard is no fun. As a last resort are you allowed to shoot it, or are firearms prohibited in your neighborhood? Not even going to suggest a live trap because usually those don’t catch cats.
